Official Talks Between Iraq, Iran Begin

Baghdad / NINA / The official talks between Iraq, headed by Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and Iran, headed by First Vice President of Iran Isaac Jahangeri have begun on Monday afternoon.
An informed source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that “the Iraqi side included ministers of finance, transport, health, agriculture, construction, municipalities, trade, tourism, culture, industry and the Governor of the Central Bank.
It is mentioned that First vice president of Iran, Isaac Jahangeri arrived to Baghdad at the invitation of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
Informed media sources reported that the Jahangeri heads a high-level political and economic delegation includes a number of ministers and advisers.
Jahangeri heads his country’s side in the joint Iraqi-Iranian Supreme Committee meetings and will attend the signing ceremony of several agreements and memoranda of understanding for bilateral cooperation in various fields and will attend a meeting between Iranians and Iraqis businessmen.
