Barzani: It’s time to convene National Conference of the Kurdish forces

Shafaq News / President of the independent region of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani confirmed that it’s time to convene the “National Conference” with the participation of all the Kurdish forces in “four parts of Kurdistan”, calling to put the foundation stone for “Kurdistan strategy in the region”.
Barzani said in a speech addressed on the occasion of the Third Conference of Kurdistan Youth received by ”Shafaq News”, “to put the foundation stone for Kurdistan strategy in the region based on peace and coexistence among peoples”.
Barzani demanded “the Kurdish youth to always be united as now you have a common goal to develop youth and service in all parts of Kurdistan”, adding “continue your struggle for the elevation of our people , full liberation and end tyranny and occupation”.
“The twenty-first century is the Kurdish people century, so you have a big responsibility and you should prepare for it to serve your people,” he stressed.
The Kurds, is a national and large group according uncertain estimates, they are between 35 to 40 million people, living within the geographical area spread over four countries, namely Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria, they call Kurdistan and are looking to form a unified state, which encountered by a number of reasons as the refusal of governments of these countries and the international situation.
