Article 140 Committee: Distribution of 170 billion dinars over eight offices of the substance in Iraq

BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network, the (IMN) - revealed to the Commission on Article 140 parliamentary, Sunday, that the State Commission on Article 140 and the distributed amounts allocated in the federal budget for 2013, amounting to 170 billion dinars over eight offices of the substance in Iraq, five of them in the South country.
Committee Chairman Mohsen al-Sadoun 's (IMN) "The Commission Article 140 government distributed recently the amounts allocated in the federal budget for compensation of Article 140, amounting to 170 billion dinars over eight offices, five of them in southern Iraq, and the sixth in Khanaqin and the seventh in Nineveh and the eighth in Kirkuk."
He explained that "five offices in the South got 100 billion dinars, while the allocation of 50 billion dinars for the Office of the province of Kirkuk, and 10 billion dinars for the Office of Khanaqin, 10 billion dinars for the Office of Nineveh."
He added Sadoun that "the Commission on Article 140 parliamentary will follow distribution mechanism money damages on covered by them in all the offices eight in Iraq," pointing out that "the amount of money worth $ 150 billion dinars allocated also to support the compensation of Article 140, but of abundance financial derived from the export of oil" .
He cited the Iraqi Constitution, ratified in 2005 of Article 140, which provides for the normalization of the situation in the disputed areas in other provinces, such as Nineveh and Diyala, and set a time limit expired on the 31st of December / December of 2007 to implement all of the Provisions of the said article of the procedures, as I left for the people of those areas freedom of self-determination of both survival and independent administrative unit or attached to the Kurdistan Region of Iraq through the organization of a referendum.
And led obstacles several to delay the implementation of some basic items in the above-mentioned article for reasons politicians say the Kurds it is political, while Baghdad says that the delay is deliberate, knowing that he had the ministerial committee competent to apply Article, that carried out some paragraphs, such as compensation for those affected, as have not been implemented the most important of which is the referendum on the fate of the administrative units.
