and the Ministry of Communications of a new policy designed to access Internet service and mobile phone networks at subsidized prices to the citizen in the near term. said a spokesman for the Office of the Minister of Communications Uday Qasim Alwan SMC (Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network), that the ministry has succeeded to expand the fiber optic network to very large capacities beyond the current need for Internet service providers and mobile phone companies, contributed to the development of a new policy to this tariff. He added that the most prominent achievements of the ministry in recent months, is to provide the needed mobile companies of optical fiber, in addition to the expected need when running the third generation and the level of quality services through the activation of the role of the private sector and encourage investment. Alwan continued: that the ministry has completed two of the biggest contracts in its history, the two amplitudes Marketing Project via submarine cable (FALCON) and the draft (GBI) which will contribute in spreading wider internet service in Iraq and at competitive prices.
