BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network ( IMN) - The parliamentary Economy Committee, said Friday, in an agreement with the Ministry of Commerce on the ration card file conversion gradually to the provinces over the next year.
Committee member said Salman al-Moussawi 's ( IMN) "The Committee supports the distribution of file conversion ration card items to the provinces during the current year to be completed after the provincial technical and administrative preparations and provide adequate warehouses for storing food."
He added that "the Commission confirmed the Ministry of Commerce need to hold the process of converting the ration card items gradually."
He continued that "the ministry will oversee the overall file distribution of the ration card items, especially since many provinces have expressed their desire to take over the ration card items."
The Cabinet decided last month to convert a file management of the ration card items to the provinces early next year that the infrastructure will be ready in every province take over management of the ration card.
According to the latest decision of the Council of Ministers, the local administrations will take over the task of hiring a foreign or domestic companies to import the ration card items that also oversees and follow-up mechanism of the distribution of those vocabulary in order to prevent the problem occurring earlier delays in the arrival of these materials to the citizens
