Zebari meets with his Saudi and Qatari counterparts separately in New York

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari discussed separately with his Saudi counterparts Prince Saud al-Faisal and the Qatari Khalid bin Mohamed Al-Attiyah, on the sidelines of the sixty-eighth session of the General Assembly in New York, bilateral relations.
A statement by the Information Office of the Ministry cited that Zebari review of Faisal Iraq - Saudi Arabia relations, in the political, economic and trade and the need to activate a way that helps to overcome the obstacles that might hinder the process and the importance of taking measures to facilitate trade between the two countries.
He added: Zebari discussed, during his meeting Attiyah the brotherly relations between the two countries and ways of strengthening them.
The two sides discussed the political process in Iraq and the ongoing preparations for the legislative elections, which will be held in Iraq in April of next year, and its role in ending the violence and achieving political stability. / End
