Othman: Kurdistan Alliance with holding elections on its time

BAGHDAD / NINA / The independent MP, of the Kurdistan Alliance, Mahmud Othman said: "the Kurdistan Alliance is with parliamentary elections on its constitutional schedule.
Othman denied, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency/ NINA / the reports that "The Kurdistan Alliance is pushing to postpone the elections, and impose impossible conditions on amendments to the election law to block passing the law and then postpone the elections."
He was surprised that "some politicians say pessimistic remarks towards the amendments to the elections law, and holding the elections on time , noting that" the political blocs did not communicate with each other during the holiday of Eid al-Adha , thus nothing emerged to release all those statements. "
He explained that " pass amendments of the election law in the House of Representatives depends on the waiver of parliamentary blocs and reduced its demands and everyone show flexibility so as to agree up on the law in the Council of Representatives and approve it ."
A number of members of the House of Representatives confirmed in a press statement that "there are political blocs pushing to postpone the upcoming elections ."
