IHEC calls partners of the electoral process to urge their voters to receive electronic card

BAGHDAD / NINA / The head of the electoral administration in the Office of the IHEC Miqdad al-Sheraifi called on partners of the electoral process to urge their voters to receive the electronic card, which will be adopted by the IHEC in polling day.
He said, according to IHEC statement today : that the process of receiving electronic cards is conducted in accordance with the schedule and the IHEC has embarked in the distribution of a number of them on the electoral offices in the provinces to be distributed to voters through registration centers , calling partners in the electoral process to urge voters to receive electronic card that be adopted by the Commission in the voting process .
He added that the IHEC has trained hundreds of staff on the procedures for delivery of electronic cards which will be distributed to voters at registration centers.
The statement noted, "The IHEC has received the first portion of the electronic voter card last Wednesday in preparation for the election of the Iraqi Council of Representatives due on April 30.
