A parliamentary committee: Agherarparwa law infrastructure after the Eid al-Fitr holiday

Baghdad, August 19 / August (Rn) - Committee said the economy and investment representative, Friday, the bill of infrastructure will be put to a second reading and approval after the holiday Eid al-Fitr, indicating that the House of Representatives assigned to three committees to study and introduce the necessary amendments before a vote.
The Iraqi Council of Representatives had previously rejected a bill infrastructure made by the then government to grant companies a great investment for infrastructure projects worth 70 billion dollars in a deferred payment at the time were many of the industrialized world which is undergoing a lot of money.

A member of the Committee Nahida Daini told the Kurdish news agency (Rn), "The House of Representatives commissioned services committees, finance, economy and investment, to study the draft law of the infrastructure that has been read the first reading," noting that "the committee is currently working on amendments to the project to not ready for the second reading and vote. "
Dani explained that "the bill includes the construction of infrastructure projects in Iraq for a year by $ 37 billion on credit payment method, will be completed with the amount down to $ 70 billion in the second stage the following year."
Daini and predicted that "the passage of a law so they can be the infrastructure after the Eid holiday."
Iraq suffers from dilapidated infrastructure sectors in the overall result of long years of siege and war during the last two decades of the last century.
Despite the passage of eight years to topple the former Iraqi regime, the Iraqi government was unable to provide basic public services for citizens, often protesting the lack of it.
The Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki earlier this month that the House of Representatives expressed its response to the draft law passed the infrastructure at half the cost of the project the previous law, which he described al-Maliki at the time as "a way out of the financial crisis experienced by the country."
The Iraqi government acknowledged the beginning of January last, the general budget for 2011 of $ 82.6 billion worth of deficit amounted to 12 billion dollars, will be covered by the amounts retained from the previous year's budget and borrow internally and externally.
