Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani discussed with Vice Presidents, Tariq al-Hashimi and Khudaiyer al-Khuza’e, political developments, local, regional and international.
*****A statement issued on Monday, Aug. 22, by the President’s Office said that Talabani met with Vice Presidents al-Hashimi and al-Khuza’e discussing political developments, in Iraq, the region and the world, in light of recent developments.*****
In the meeting stress to continue efforts toward preparing the ground for to move the political process forward through implementing the Erbil Agreements and committing to agreements reached during recent meeting of leaders of political forces.*****
They also stressed the necessity to put aside disagreements and to exert efforts toward solving disputes in a friendly and fraternal way through adopting serious dialogue. *****
