Talabani, vice presidents to invite all political side to end disputes

Baghdad (NINA) – President Jalal Talabani and vice presidents, Tariq al-Hashimi and Khudayer al-Khuza'e, decided to invite all political parties to put an end to their disputes through the media and to adopt a calm, rational dialogue centered on agreed points.
A statement issued on Wednesday, June 15, by the President's Office said, "Talabani and his two vice presidents held a meeting discussing the country's general situation; they have agreed on working as one cohesive team to carry their role in protecting the Constitution and implement agreements reached, including the Erbil Agreement, to achieve national reconciliation among political sides."
It added, "They have also agreed on establishing objective environments in preparation for dialogue based on frankness starting from where Erbil negations ended, urging all to avoid straining the political atmosphere and calling to hold to previously reached agreements toward solving outstanding disputes."
