Japan, U.S confirm their agreement to support Iraq

BAGHDAD / NINA / The United States and Japan confirmed their agreement to cooperate in helping Iraq to restore its security and stability.
A statement for the Japanese Foreign Ministry issued today, cited that: "The Japan Foreign Minister, Fumio Kishida and American John Kerry agreed, in a telephone call, to continue to cooperate to restore stability in Iraq."
Kishida expressed concern about the deteriorating situation in Iraq, hoping that the rights of all Iraqi citizens respected regardless of sectarian and ethnic affiliation and get the national unity through the formation of a new government.
