Maliki to change leaders of the security operations in Baghdad

Baghdad, 18 May (Rn) - called for the Security and Defense Committee in the Iraqi Council of Representatives on Wednesday, the commander of the armed forces Nuri al-Maliki's calls for broad changes in the security leaders of the Baghdad Operations Command to reduce the assassinations by sticky bombs and weapons equipped with heaps of sound.
The committee member said Iskandar, fig Kurdistan News Agency (Rn) that "Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces is required to conduct large-scale changes in the pecking order to Baghdad as a tactical operations and to change security plans are working on the Baghdad Operations Command."
He explained that "security plans must be as much as the security challenges and be able to eliminate the assassinations by sticky bombs and weapons equipped with heaps of sound."
He continued that "some leaders of the Baghdad Operations commanders of regiments and cutters those accused of financial and administrative corruption and lax in the management of their security forces, which affects the improvement in the security reality in the capital Baghdad, causing destabilization of trust between citizens and security forces."
The Iraqi government at the present time a study to examine the possibility of solving the Baghdad operations command and assign the security file to the Ministry of the Interior.
And head of the Baghdad operations run by officers in the Iraqi army and under the direct supervision of the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Nuri al-Maliki's responsibility for security in public areas of the capital since the start of a plan to impose law in 2007.
And under the Baghdad Operations Command has repeatedly criticized directly from the Interior Ministry and other security organizations because of their inability to put an end to the violence in Baghdad.
And supervised by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces and Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki is currently on the management and Ministries of Defence, Interior and National Security Agency since the granting of the House of Representatives of confidence for his government on 21 November of this, because of the different political blocs on the names of candidates to fill those ministries.
