The Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki has, in (24 Aug.) Vice President for Energy, Hussein al-Shahristani, to take over the Ministry of Electricity and the agency after less than a month to dismiss its minister.
As regarded the Iraqi List led by Iyad Allawi, the mandate of Hussein al-Shahristani, to take over the Ministry of Electricity and agency approach either or of the concept of national partnership and a clear message to give priority to party interests on the national, stressing that the decision aimed at depriving Iraqis of electric power, called upon all the political blocs to a serious stand to defend the partnership national.
