Kurdistan Parliament Speaker Kamal Kirkuki visited on Saturday Interior and Municipality Minister Marwan Charbel and tackled with him bilateral ties as well as means to develop them.
"Minister has agreed to give stay to Iraqi students for a renewable one-year period," Karkouki said.
Charbel also received Minister of Municipal Affairs in the Youth Shadow Government Jessica Obeid who informed the Minister about the Alternative Energy upcoming municipalities' competition funded by the UNDP.
The competition allows winners to an LBP 60 million, she said, adding that the closing subscription date is on September 30.
Moreover, Charbel received respectively Beirut Order of Engineers head Elie Bsaibes, the Greek Catholic (Melkite) Bishop Michel Abras, and the North Lebanon Merchants Association head Asaad Hariri.
