BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi House Speaker, Osama Al-Nujaifi discussed, in his office on Sunday 27, Oct, with the counselor of the U.S. State Department, Brett Magrec the political and security situation in Iraq and the region and the possibility of adoption of the election law next week to complete the electoral process on schedule.
The Information Office of the President of the House of Representatives cited in a press statement: "The two sides also discussed, during the meeting, which was attended by U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Robert Stephen Beecroft, relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, particularly at the parliamentary level." / End
