Army forces to start full offensive on Fallujah, says Iraqi General

(IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a senior Iraqi army officer stated, that the armed forces are ready for an offensive operation to fully liberate al-Fallujah.
Major General Fadel Barawi said in an interview with IraqiNews, “The Golden Division has prepared for a full offensive to liberate the district of Fallujah from the ISIS group elements permanently.”
“The attack will be conducted in coordination with Anbar Operations Command,” he added.
Noteworthy, Anbar province is constantly witnessing violent clashes between Iraqi forces and the ISIS group militants who have taken over large swaths of land in the province.
