Iraq, Iran discuss expansion of cooperation in ICT fields

Iranian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Mahmoud Vaezi said on Monday expansion of Tehran-Baghdad ties would pave the way for restoration of peace and tranquility to the region.
Talking to reporters, Vaezi made the remarks on the sideline of his meeting with Iraqi counterpart Kazem Al-Rashed Hassan.
He also expressed hope that Iraq would solve its problems resulted from the presence of ISIL terrorists.
The Middle East and Persian Gulf would encounter serious problems without security and stability in Iraq, Vaezi reiterated.
The issues of mutual interests and the ways for expansion of cooperation in the fields of ICT were also discussed during the meeting, he added. /End/
