Kurdistan Alliance confirms the commitment of the region's oil agreement with Baghdad
Confirmed the Kurdistan Alliance, the Kurdistan Regional Government is committed to the oil agreement with Baghdad.
A member of Serwa Abdul Wahid said that "the oil agreement between Baghdad and Erbil still in force until now, and the provincial government implement what has been agreed upon," asserting that "a delegation from the Kurdistan region will visit Baghdad soon to complete all the belongings subject of the agreement."
Confirmed the MP that "the possibility of the Kurdistan region to export oil is 600 000 barrels per day, but due to a technical fault was this percentage reduced to 300 barrels per day, and generally, the current agreement is that the province exported 600 000 barrels per day, and this is what will actually be implemented this year."
The governments in Baghdad and Erbil, announced on the second of December last to reach an agreement in relation to oil exports and the region's share of the budget. (AA)
