Mladenov announce the end of his service as UN envoy in Iraq

Nikolay Mladenov said, about the end of his service as the Special Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Iraq.
He said Mladenov, during his speech yesterday at the UN Security Council session, in its periodic report on Iraq "at a time which ended the period of my service as the Special Representative Secretary-General in Iraq, say borrowing a phrase, I still feel cautiously optimistic, and I am optimistic that despite the crisis security that year, the political leaders and community leaders and clerics Aeraguibn lasted all lined up in order to save their country from terrorism. The Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, has decided on the fifth of February, the appointment of the Bulgarian Nikolay Mladenov, special coordinator for the peace process in the Middle East.
A statement by the Office of Ban Ki-moon, the journalist, said, "Mladenov will succeed Dutchman Robert Serry, and will serve as the envoy of the Secretary General of the Quartet Committee on the Middle East, which includes the United States, Russia, the European Union and the United Nations."
At the time the statement did not refer to that Mladenov will continue his duties as a special envoy in Iraq, Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, or his successor.
The Mladenov, who served as Foreign Minister of Bulgaria visited Iraq several times within the delegation of the European Union, was appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations as his Special Representative in Iraq on August 2, 2013, replacing his predecessor, Martin Kobler.
Mladenov and carry a master's degree in literature about the war studies from King's College London in the United Kingdom, and a master's degree and bachelor's degree in international relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia Bbulgaraa.anthy
