The Interior Ministry issued a clarification on the report about the increasing phenomenon of begging in Iraq

Twilight news/Ministry of the Interior issued on Wednesday, clarification of several points regarding the report broadcast by the Iraqi satellite television channel about the increasing phenomenon of begging in the country.
The satellite channel has published on the 20th of this month to report on the increasing phenomenon of beggingReferring to the community police in the Interior Ministry to arrest both begging exercise in which we would like to point out.
The Ministry said provide our explanation that for "twilight news, that the phenomenon of begging not only the competence of the Ministry of the Interior but with control over many of the services and institutions of the State and the Ministry has spared no effort in their approach and coordination with it on the theme search" phenomenon, stating that "there is a section in the Directorate of Baghdad police were begging one of its jurisdiction".
It added that "community police was established in the Ministry of the Interior to open up communication and cooperation with society and participated in all its activities and contribute positively to the development of Iraqi society and not duty time arrests or security walshartoet known to everyone."
