Bahaa al-Araji, emphasizes the need for France to play a prominent role in raising the level of investment in Iraq

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Deputy Prime Minister Bahaa al-Araji, on Sunday at his office in Baghdad, with the French ambassador to Iraq, Marc Barete and discussed with him the overall political and security issues. A statement by the Office of Araji agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of it on "The meeting discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the overall political and security issues and areas of mutual cooperation and ways of strengthening them and push them in various fields and to achieve the common interests of both countries."
He added that "al-Araji, touched on the nature of military operations and large victories of the armed forces, which resulted in the liberation of Salahuddin province, from the clutches of Daash terrorist gangs".
He said al-Araji, according to the statement "the need to increase the level of cooperation way that fits with the size of the sacrifices of Iraq and is in defense and fighting shop on behalf of all countries of the world, praising the attitude French supporting Iraq in its war against the terrorist gangs, and hoping that France plays a prominent role in increase the investment in Iraq and the level especially in the field of energy after that company {Total} French invested in different parts of the country in the areas of exploration for oil and chemical refining.
The statement said that "the French ambassador expressed his part, expressed his country's desire to cooperate with the Iraqi government, noting that France is committed to stand by Iraq in his efforts for the reconstruction and economic growth," .anthy
