Secretariat of the Council of Ministers looking reality of border crossings

It discussed the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the reality of border crossings in Iraq during the weekly meeting and in the presence of border ports director of the Ministry of Interior.
During the meeting, which was chaired by Secretary-General Hamid behind the presence of his deputies and his assistant for the ministries and provinces, and general managers and their assistants, provide a detailed account of the reality of the border crossing points in Iraq, and the actions taken to fix it by the follow-up of government and coordination in the Secretariat circle.
Border crossing points and the director said the ports and interfaces are considered a civilized country which is officially known areas and the cursor and internationally recognized gateways for the purposes of transport and trade. He said the land ports management back to the border crossing points at the Interior Ministry Directorate, either the air and sea ports, it is managed by the Ministry of Transport.
A report prepared by the Department of follow-up and coordination of government that Iraq has 29 outlet border freely by 4 ports and 6 airports and an air outlet 15 land ports, and the rest are run by the Kurdistan Regional Government ports.
The report indicated that the Iraqi ports sites and resources that supply the state budget and those ports has made imports by 16.8 billion dinars during the month of April 2015, indicating that the annual resources is growing with the provision of employment security requirements for ports, being an important source in the annual budget of the state funding.
The presentation of the report types laboratories operating at border crossing points, a medical laboratory, Quarry veterinary and environmental laboratories in addition to the quality control laboratories.
Structural representatives of border crossings and has for (26) circle back to the 11 ministries, including the security ministries.
Previously the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers that adopted the follow-up to the border crossing points through specialized committees and at the direction of the prime minister through the study of the reality of border crossings in and out by the constraints they face, The Committee on the uniform design came out of the five border ports being in three of them at the moment.
