Sistani demanded by the West more weapons to Iraq to fight the organization of the Islamic State

The Independent newspaper published a newly conducted with Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalai, a spokesman for the top Shiite cleric in Iraq, Ali al-Sistani, asked the Western countries to provide Baghdad with more weapons to fight the "Islamic state".
He called Karbalai, in his rare for the Independent, the neighboring countries to close their borders to prevent the enrollment of volunteers organized "Islamic state" in Iraq and Syria.
