Baghdad announced the Ministry of Planning, on Thursday, the conclusion of the first conference in the agricultural sector to develop a vision of supporting the Iraqi economy strategy, while confirming that the increase in the per capita share of plant and animal production will contribute to the self-sufficiency of the individual and to ensure the lack of hard currency out outside Iraq, indicated the Ministry of Agriculture that there are more than 44 million acres of arable but suffers a lack of water. The media and the Ministry of Planning Director, Ali Abdul-Zahra in an interview with the (long-Presse), "The Ministry of Planning concluded today and facts activities of the First Agricultural Conference, "noting that" this conference is of exceptional importance in the light of the economic crisis in Iraq and the crisis resulting from the unilateral Iraqi economy, which depends only on oil imports and the absence of other sectors of development.
