BAGHDAD / Center Brief for the Iraqi Media Network (IMN) - a member of the parliamentary Committee on Energy Zubari Fatima Hamidi confirmed that the proposal to cancel oil licensing round with Iraq Saqaibd companies considerable financial loss.

It showed that "the contracts as a whole is not the reason for the loss of Iraqi funds. If those contracts surrounded by close control and great integrity by ministry officials and Iraqi politicians will govern grip on the paragraphs of those contracts and thus take advantage of these companies with less financial loss."
She stressed that "there are precautionary measures to prevent the waste of money in those contracts, such as change some of the provisions of paragraphs or control and that is not an extension of some of the companies for many years."
The MP Haitham al-Jubouri, a member of the parliamentary finance committee was told a few days ago that the oil licensing rounds in Iraq Iraqi companies incur very large financial loss, calling for its abolition.
