{Baghdad: Euphrates News} increased passenger numbers across Baghdad International Airport during the past nine months of this year to reach {} 1,711,468 passengers compared to the same period last year.

He added that "in response to this growth, the General Establishment of Civil Aviation many projects at Baghdad International Airport, including two showrooms rehabilitation project of Karbala, Samarra, as well as improve the technical side of the other airport facilities to be on a par with advanced airports around the world."
