Najaf Airport: More than two million passengers in October until the end of last month for the current year

The head of the Council of airport administration Faid al-Shammari, said that "the proportion of the number of passengers and flights increased until the end of October last month, equivalent to an entire year in 2014, up 24.5% and the number of passengers and 15.7% the number of trips."
He explained that "Statistics have shown a marked increase in the number of flights and passengers has reached trips in the last year 2014 (7766) trip either of the year in 2015 and reached the (8987) trip until the end of October last month, up numerical arrived at the (1221) trip."
He said al-Shammari, said that "the number of passengers in the past year 2014 amounted to (1,714,499) million passengers while in 2015 it made the airport more than (2,134,661) passengers until October last end up numerical reached (420.162) are traveling," expected "increase in the number trips and travelers until the end of this year could reach the threshold of 3 million passengers. "
