Baghdad airport is transferred over 1.7 million passengers during the 9 months

Civil Aviation Authority announced the transfer of more than one million and seven hundred thousand citizens across Baghdad airport during the past nine months.
The planning and follow-up department at the Civil Aviation Authority that passenger numbers across Baghdad International Airport increased during the past nine months of this year, up to one million seven hundred and seventy-seven thousand passengers compared to the same period last year.
Passenger traffic stood at Baghdad International Airport and four hundred nineteen thousand passengers during the months of August and September last two, and reached the total to one million passengers and a seven hundred and ten thousand, the highest number recorded by the airport.
It has seen a remarkable increase of aircraft movements, too, where the number increased to five thousand and three hundred and sixty-nine trip.
