Maliki discuss with the Russian Ambassador to the latest developments in Iraq and the region

(Independent) .. Search Vice President Nuri al-Maliki, today, with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Iraq, Russia's Ilya Anatolyevich Margonov developments in the political and security situation in Iraq and the region.
Maliki reiterated the need to strengthen bilateral relations between the Republic of Iraq and the Russian Federation and developing them to serve the higher interests of the two peoples, adding that he hoped to achieve Iraqi-Russian cooperation in the security and intelligence field goals, and contribute to the defeat of terrorism Daash and eliminate it completely.
For his part, expressed his country's Ambassador Margonov support the people and Government of Iraq in the reconstruction of all its institutions and to get rid of Daash terrorist threats, stressing that Moscow would like to establish a solid foundation for bilateral relations fruitful with Iraq in all fields.
