Signed Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian Minister Tariq Al-Mulla, the Minister of Energy of Jordan and Mineral Resources Ibrahim Saif, and Adel Abdul Mahdi, Iraq's oil minister, in Amman, Jordan, on Sunday, a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the oil and natural gas between the three areas, in light of the availability of productive capacities Iraqi surplus of crude oil and gas.
Said Tariq Al-Mulla as it was agreed to include areas of mutual cooperation, provide Jordan and Egypt surplus of crude oil and natural gas in Iraq, as well as the export of Iraqi gas through Jordan and Egypt through the Arab Gas Pipeline, as it was agreed to study the appropriate mechanism for the export of Iraqi crude oil per Egypt and Jordan, through the implementation of modern pipeline from Aqaba to the project.
The three ministers held a session extended talks with the participation of the Egyptian side Engineer Khalid Abdul Badi head of the Egyptian Holding Company for Natural Gas "EGAS", Engineer Fouad Rashad, head managers Company the Egyptian dawn of Jordan, where they discussed areas of cooperation in all current and future joint petroleum activities .
