Jordan, Iraq, Egypt discuss energy cooperation

Egyptian Ambassador to Iraq Sharif Shahin said coordination is underway between Jordan, Iraq and Egypt on building a pipeline to export Iraqi oil through these countries, Petra reported.
The ambassador said, in a press statement in Baghdad, that coordination among the three countries will continue to enable Egypt to take part in the process of extending the pipeline to its territories.
Further, he said that the Egyptian private sector will participate in the project, adding that negotiations are currently being held to discuss their involvement.
