Iraq, Egypt and Jordan sign a memorandum of cooperation in the oil and natural gas fields

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} Oil Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and the Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources of the Egyptian Tarek Al-Mulla, the Minister of Energy of Jordan and Mineral Resources Ibrahim Saif took place in Amman, Jordan, on Sunday, a memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in the oil and natural gas between the three areas, in the light of the availability of excess capacity of Iraqi crude oil and gas.
He told Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the Egyptian Minister Tariq Mullah that it was agreed to include areas of mutual cooperation to provide Jordan and Egypt surplus of crude oil and natural gas in Iraq, as well as the export of Iraqi gas through Jordan and Egypt through the Arab Gas Pipeline, as it was agreed to study the appropriate mechanism to export oil Iraqi crude each from Egypt, Jordan, through the implementation of a pipeline from the modern project to Aqaba.
