In a major event organized in a hall specially prepared for this event in Baghdad and in a special atmosphere, 250 broadcasting and electronic games enthusiasts attended the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between Asiacell Communications and the Iraqi Federation of Electronic Sports IQESF.
This agreement represents sponsorship for the launch of the latest and largest gaming platform called GameCell, supported by Asiacell and implemented by the Federation, which will be the first electronic gaming platform of its kind in Iraq.
Like Asiacell brings us together, GameCell aims to bring together people who enjoy online games, watch esports or who are completely new to the gaming community and are looking for a friendly atmosphere to join in.
GameCell aims to provide the best possible experience for broadcast fans and online players, whether they are competitive, friendly or both by offering the fastest 4G internet service from Asiacell available with the widest coverage in Iraq.
The new Asiacell platform will present a series of weekly, monthly and seasonal tournaments organized by the Federation "IQESF", where top players will compete for many different and valuable prizes.
The event itself was one of the most massive, in terms of organization and attendance, that Baghdad has witnessed in recent years.
A comprehensive experience was designed using gaming themes, including costumes, giant robots, gaming stations, an exhibition of toy figures, light and laser shows, and friendly tournaments, which were a small part of the activities used in the huge party that took place in central Baghdad.

Following the launch of the fantastic event, Ms. Jara Hussain, Executive Director of the Commercial Business Unit at Asiacell, and Mr. Haider Jaafar, President of the Iraqi Esports Association, signed the strategic partnership agreement between them.
