Falah Mustafa: the Iraqi government agrees to open a consulate in Arbil, UAE

The Department of Foreign Relations Kurdistan Regional Government, on Tuesday, the Iraqi government's approval to open a consulate of the Federal State of United Arab Emirates in the provincial capital of Erbil.
The official said the province's Department of Foreign Relations, Falah Mustafa, said that "Iraqi Council of Ministers approved the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, the UAE to open a consulate in Arbil, the capital of the province."
He noted that "the Iraqi government informed the Kurdistan Regional Government formally agreed to open a consulate in the UAE city of Arbil," explaining that "direct action will be necessary for the opening of the consulate."
It is said that the Kurdistan Regional Government representative offices in several countries, most notably the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Australia, Austria and Sweden, while the number of representations of foreign countries in the Region 24 representatives, including the representations of Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Britain and the United States U.S. and Palestine.
