Falah Mustafa: the Iraqi government agrees to open a consulate in Arbil, UAE

The Department of Foreign Relations Kurdistan Regional Government, for approval of the federal government to open the Consulate of the UAE in the provincial capital of Erbil. The official said the Territory Department of Foreign Relations, Falah Mustafa, said that "Iraqi Council of Ministers approved the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq, the UAE to open a consulate in Arbil, capital of the province."
He pointed out that "the Iraqi government informed the Kurdistan Regional Government formally agreed to open a consulate in the UAE city of Arbil," explaining that "direct action will be necessary for the opening of the consulate." It is noteworthy that the Kurdistan Regional Government representatives in a number of countries notably the United States, Britain, Germany and France, while the number of representations of foreign countries in the Region 24 representatives, including the representations of Egypt, Turkey, Jordan, Iran, Britain and the United States and Palestine.
