Iraqi parliament to further discuss the draft general budget

Completed the House of Representatives Saturday to discuss the budget 2012 and a second reading in preparation for approval during the next few days.
The Saturday session was delayed for about an hour due to lack of quorum, after members of the coalition in Iraq has decided to continue their boycott of parliament sessions, preferring to stay out of the chamber.
National Alliance MP Ali inch most likely that the second reading takes several days due to some objections to the terms of the budget.
Kurdistan Alliance MP Qassem Mohammed pointed out that despite the boycott of Iraqi MPs meeting to discuss the General Budget Law, except that the internal regulations of the parliament did not prevent discussion of any law as long as a quorum is complete, adding that the draft budget contains a lot of gaps will Parliament to find appropriate solutions before approval.
Planning Minister Ali Shukri, who attended the meeting to participate in the discussion of the budget year 2012 expected in a statement to Radio Free Iraq that is adoption of the budget during the month of January, at the same time warning of the consequences of delaying approval of the conduct of investment projects and the development process in Iraq.
The session saw the parliament on Saturday also perform and former Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ali Alsjeri sworn in as a deputy in Parliament, which is recessed to Monday next.
