Baghdad (AIN) – MP, Yousif al-Taei, of Ahrar bloc stated “The majority government will fail if some political blocs to be excluded.”
Speaking to All Iraq News Agency (AIN) on Tuesday, Taei mentioned “Iraq can only be run by the national partnership government," noting that "The political blocs have to settle the disputes in the current time."
“We need the national partnership, which needs some modifications to be successful, and not to make majority government,” he added.
“Ahrar bloc is with the real and honest national partnership government,” he pointed out, assuring that “the political blocs' work is the key of success.”
The call to form a majority government was welcomed by some politicians and rejected by others. Some consider it as the solution to the current crisis, whereas others consider the national partnership as the suitable solution.
