Commercial companies, demanding the adoption of a new law regulating its work

A number of Iraqi business owners need to change the law on registration of companies and dealing with this system on the basis of the single window.
The director of the company (tributaries of Iraq) Hamza Meshaal told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "the system of registration of Iraqi companies is one of the old laws, which are not commensurate with the size of the demand for investment and work in Iraq."
He added that "the Registrar of companies are complex and need to follow the facilities and means of electronic registration process which eliminates the extortion suffered by the owners of companies."
He continued that "the problem of companies in Iraq concerning the old laws are not commensurate with the economic size of Iraq in the country."
In turn, the managing director of the Company (Sama Baghdad) Prince Abdul Jabbar (Rn) that "the system of registration of commercial companies is complex because it is based on instructions and old laws are one of the main obstacles that stand in front of the development of the Iraqi market."
He said, "the company registration process used by Iraq's underdeveloped and Atriqy to the level of commercial development that has occurred in Iraq in recent years."
He noted that "Iraq needs a law on electronic trading in the company registration process and to regulate the registration with the tightening of control over the companies."
For his part, Chairman of the Economic Commission for Ahmed al-Alwani (Rn) that "the Commission is not conducting any change in the law of registration of companies before the live workshops and seminars with the owners of companies to find out details floury on the obstacles that stand in front of them."
"The next phase calls for genuine partnership between the public and the private sector role of local and foreign companies that will enhance the economic role of Iraq."
Revealed Companies Registration Department of the Iraqi Ministry of Trade, 2143 for the registration of an Iraqi company, Arab and foreign, with fines imposed on the 3079 Iraqi company for failure to submit budgets and final accounts on time in 2011.
