Al-Iraqiya announces road-map with PM Maliki

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: A leading member in al-Iraqiya Bloc, chaired by Iyad Allawi, has announced on Saturday that his Bloc reached an agreement with Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, to draw a Road-Map on the way to settle the current political crisis in Iraq, according to the London-based al-Sharq al-Awsat (Middle East) Newspaper,
"Al-Iraqiya Bloc has achieved what may be called as a "Road Map," to settle the current crisis with Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki," Hamza al-Gartany said, pointing out at the same time for the "the suspension by al-Iraqiya's ministers to attend the Cabinet's meetings, pending its final decision to be taken by the Bloc".
"A recent meeting with 3 al-Iraqiya Blo's members with PM Maliki, had taken place according to an approval by the Bloc,during which the ministers have discussed with PM Maliki to resume carrying out their duties and report to their ministries," Gartany, a Parliament Legislature for al-Iraqiya Bloc said.
As regards to the meetings of the Preparatory Committee for the proposed National Conference, Gartany said that "there are meetings, scheduled to take place in the forthcoming few days in President Jalal Talabani's residence, proposed by Prime Minister, Nouri al-Malliki and al-Iraqiya Leader, Iyad Allawi, to be held after a proposed meeting between Malliki and his Deputy Prime Minister, Saleh al-Mutlaq."
"All the related parties have considered the return of al-Iraqiya to the Parliament had been a positive message, reflecting the success of the government of the National Partnership, as we have reached an agreement to draw a 'Road Map," in agreement with Maliki to achieve the settlements, "following his expression of flexibility by him, similar to that expressed by Allawi."
