Algeria Cancels all Debts Owed by Iraq

Foreign Ministry announced that the Algerian government decided to cancel all debts owed by Iraq.
The Foreign Ministry statement on Thursday that "Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari received a letter from the Minister for Foreign Affairs Algerian Mourad Medelci included the cancellation of all debts owed by Iraq for the benefit of Algeria's desire to contribute to the development of the Iraqi economy."
He explained that "within the context of strengthening relations and solidarity between the two countries and peoples
