BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Industry Ministry Undersecretary discussed with the Egyptian Trade Attaché the possibilities of establishing partnerships with Egyptian companies, according to a statement issued today.
The statement received by Aswat al-Iraq noted that Maki Ajeeb Hmoud met Abdul Sattar al-Sawi to discuss possibilities of Egyptian companies' participation in Iraqi investment projects.
Undersecretary Hmoud expressed full readiness to cooperate with the Egyptian companies as strategic partner with Ministry companies in the fields of fertilizers, petrochemicals, iron, textile, and electrical.
On the other side, Sawi expressed the desire of his country to enter the Iraqi market.
He extended an invitation to visit Egypt to acquaint himself with the Egyptian industrial and technical potentialities, as the statement added.
