Filipino delegation looking to strengthen economic ties with Kurdistan Region

Arbil, March 2 / March (Rn) - The chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan Region, on Friday, that the Philippines intends to strengthen economic ties with Kurdistan, adding that an official delegation will visit the region commercially in this regard soon.
Said Dara Jalil Khayat, told the Kurdish news agency (Rn) that "a delegation such as the government and the Chamber of Commerce yesterday Alvelin visited the Kurdistan region and discuss ways of consolidating and strengthening bilateral economic and trade and industry between the two sides."
The Tailor "The delegation expressed during the talks for the determination of the government and the Chamber of Commerce Philippines agreements to strengthen economic relationship with the Kurdistan region," pointing out that "a trade official delegation will visit the last of the Kurdistan region in this regard in the near future."
He added by saying "We asked the Philippine delegation to contribute to the establishment of factories especially nutrition and canning in the region, as well as supplement the Kurdistan workers specialists in all areas."
Khayat said that "the Philippines is the experience of leading specialists in sending workers to countries of the world, as well as its expertise in the food industry," noting that "Kurdistan now need to experience the Philippine side to fill the vacuum in these areas."
The Kurdistan region and for years the focus of attention of foreign investors, as witnessed visits by trade delegations, mostly designed to hold economic agreements and the establishment of investment projects in most areas.
