Karbala (AIN) -Chairman of Karbala Provincial Council, Mohammed Hameed al-Mosawi, called upon the United Nations to help relief Iraq from the UN Charter's 7th Chapter.
All Iraq News Agency’s reporter mentioned that “The Chairman of Karbala PC met the UN Secretary General's Special Representative in Iraq Martin Kobler, who arrived to Karbala today, Monday, and discussed with him the general situation in Iraq.”
Mosawi called upon the UN to help Iraq end the accommodation of Ashraf Camp.
He also asked the UN for supporting women and children projects in Karbala province.
For his side, Kobler praised the cooperation of the central government in ending the accommodation of the people in Ashraf Camp and emphasized that “The UN will provide various types of assistance to Iraq to be out of Chapter VII.” /End/
