• Riyadh to host Gulf central banks meeting

Riyadh - «life» - to be held in Riyadh on the 54 meeting of the Committee of Governors of monetary agencies and central banks in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The Committee will discuss a number of topics, including minutes of meetings of committees to supervise and control the banking system, payment systems in the GCC countries, institutes and colleges banking, which included the recommendations of these committees regarding the «Help banking supervision standard of the GCC countries», and the terms of reference for the study to link the payment systems, and procedures taken to develop the network of the Gulf ATM, POS, and human resources training and development in the banking sector.
The Committee will consider the minutes of the second meeting of the Working Group of the Economic and monetary and financial specialist dialogues cooperation with other countries and economic groups, and a report on the functioning of the monetary council, a report on the second general meeting of the session, the 23 of the Finance Committee the international anti-money laundering and terrorism financing «FATF», as well as Review of monetary and financial developments in the Gulf States.
