Baghdad (AIN) –The Iraqi National Alliance expressed readiness to attend the upcoming national meeting at any time that will be specified by the President, Jalal Talabani, to settle the disputes.
The Deputy Head of the INA, Khalid al-Atiya, stated to AIN "INA is ready to settle all the disputes which hurdle the political process," noting that "The solutions should be based on the constitution."
"The Pre-conditions set by some sides represent an attempt to escape from reaching settlement for the disputes," he added.
"The meeting became a necessity for directing the political process to the right direction," he concluded.
Earlier, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, announced on last Wednesday postponing holding the upcoming national meeting which was decided to be held on last Thursday. /End/ [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
