BAGHDAD, June 14 (AKnews) - Iraqiya List said today that dialogue with Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki has ended.
This position comes one day after President Jalal Talabani renewed his calls for dialogue to resolve the political differences.
Hadi al-Zalimi, spokesman for the Accord Movement which belongs to Iraqiya, said Maliki lost reliability among the political parties allied to withdraw confidence from him.
"The allied parties will adopt the constitutional means to withdraw confidence from Maliki even if President Jalal Talabani doesn't send a request to the Council of Representatives to withdraw confidence."
Iraqiya List yesterday revealed that the tripartite alliance will soon assign the person who will question Maliki in the Council of Representatives.
Talabani said earlier that he had received 160 signatures, saying that this number was not enough to withdraw confidence from Maliki's government. The Kurdistan Region's President Massoud Barzani stated on Monday on his Facebook page that he had 170 signatures.
