Baghdad (AIN) –Iraq decided to ban importing birds and its products from 18 countries of the world.
A statement by the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers received by AIN cited Thursday “The decision comes to protect the Iraqi environment and it was based on the latest update issued by the OIE Organization related to the spread of the Birds Flu disease.”
“The countries included by this decision are: Bangladesh, Butane, Cambodia, China, Hong-Kong, Laos, Myanmar, Egypt, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, Holland, South Africa, Indonesia, Nepal, Australia and Sari Lanka,” the statement concluded. /End/
