Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) -MP Ali al-Shallah of the State of Law Coalition assured that “The SLC rejected to grant a share from the Infrastructure law draft for Kurdistan region.”
He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “The Kurds demanded a a share of 17% from the total amount of the project, but we refused and suggested to grant them 17% from the allocations of the provinces since the federal infrastructure of ports, airports, railways and other projects should be for all Iraq.”
“Some other blocs, among them the Iraqiya Slate, wanted to link the Infrastructure law draft with the General Amnesty law draft but we informed all sides that we reject any deal to trade this law drafts for other law drafts,” according to MP Shallah.
