Mutlag, UAE ambassador discuss economic, investment ties

Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime Minister Salih Al Mutlag discussed with UAE ambassador to Iraq Abdullah Al Shihi economic and investment ties between the two countries.
Mutlag’s office said the Deputy PM stressed the necessity of deepening ties between Iraq and its brothers in the Gulf Cooperation Council and to maintain these ties within in an atmosphere of calmness, mutual respect, non intervention, and keenness of joint interests.
For his part, the UAE ambassador reiterated his country’s keenness on Iraq’s security and unity, expressing his happiness over the press in the Iraqi political process and the agreements that the political blocs reached during the meeting in Talabani’s office. /End/
